Hello Everyone,

I am not sure how, however the fall sports season is beginning to wind down with the boys cross country teams placing third and the girls finishing fourth at state this weekend in Sheridan.  Congratulations to Sam Kistemann who finished 8th overall and Kaleb Simonson for finishing  7th, earning them All-State accolades.  Congratulations to all our runners, their families and our coaches on a great season!

The Bruce Gresly Aquatics Center was home to the 3A West Conference girls swim meet this weekend where our Lady Tigers finished strong earning them the conference championship.  Anastasia Cornale earned the 3A West Conference Swimmer of the Meet and Swimmer of the Year for her strong performances.  The swim team will host a last-chance meet this weekend before heading to Laramie for state next weekend.

Our football team earned their fourth win of the season and finished 3-2 overall in the conference which qualifies them for the state playoffs.  They will kickoff in Jackson at 5pm on Friday night.  Good luck gentlemen and congrats on your state playoff berth!  Meanwhile our volleyball team will head to Mountain View on Friday for the 3A Regionals in search of their own berth to state in Casper next weekend.

The fall choir and jazz band concert is tonight at 7pm in the LVHS Auditorium, our music students always put on a great show and I hope that you are able to take the time to let them entertain you.  Please don't forget that our parent teacher conferences are Tuesday (4-7) and Wednesday (3:30-7).  We hope that you will be able to come and visit with our teachers and staff to ensure we are doing everything we can to meet their needs.  Remember that because of the conferences there will be no school on Friday.

On Tuesday LVHS will host its annual Mix-It-Up Lunch in order to create/strengthen relationships and build a more inclusive culture.  We hope you will encourage your student to participate in this fun event during lunch.

As part of our continual improvement process, our district and school is participating in a school culture and climate survey.  Your help in filling this survey out to the best of your ability is greatly appreciated.
