Gannett Peak Elementary School

Gannett Peak Elementary School is a grade K-3 school.  We are extremely excited to be in our brand new state-of-the-art building. We are one of the largest elementary schools in the state with over 570 students and over 90 staff members.

We are proud of how well we are already functioning at the culmination of a great deal of change. After an elementary school reconfiguration, students have come together and made new friends. Teachers are working hard on forming new collegial relationships and are giving 100% for every child. The PBIS processes have given staff and students a common vocabulary and mutual understanding of expectations which is leading to culture of caring. RTI and BIT processes are also functioning smoothly, permitting students to receive targeted assistance quickly.  Through a strong implementation of PBIS, students are learning to work together. Consistent expectations using the concepts of responsibility, respect, and safety are helping the school function effectively in spite of its newness.
