Good Afternoon,

It is almost time to load the bus and head to Dubois for the the regional History Day contest tomorrow. The students have worked hard updating their projects for the next level of competition. 

Here is the plan: 
7:55 am  Students check in with first period teacher
8:00 am  Students meet in the LMS Commons with the following items:

  • Lunch
  • Water
  • Snack
  • 3 copies of their process papers: title page, process paper and annotated bibliography
  • Exhibit board: use plastic garbage sacks to cover and protect the project,
  • Documentary: flashdrive
  • Performance: pack so you can carry all your items easily. Reminder: you must setup and take down your performance without any help. 

Judging begins at 9:20 am

Lunch will be eaten at the school or Boys and Girls Club, depending upon our schedule. 

During the times students aren't being judged he/she can work on homework, read, or go to documentaries or performances. Students should not run around the school, since it is a regular school day for the Dubois students. 

2:00 Awards in the Dubois Cafeteria/stage area
3:30 Return to Lander and time to celebrate all of the students' success. 

Students who qualify for the state contest will receive an email on Wednesday orThursday this week about registration and more information about the contest. 

Results will be found on County 10, FCSD#1 website and in the Lander Journal.
