Hello Tiger Families,

You all should have received a post card and it has been in my blog and in the newsletter but the time has finally come to do our ACT Testing Day.  In order to be able to deliver that test as well as the optional Pre-ACT, only students taking those tests will have school on Tuesday.  This means all juniors need to be here promptly at 7:45 with a fully charged chromebook and their charger to take the ACT online.  Freshmen and Sophomores who signed up for the Pre-ACT will need to be here at 7:45 as well, however their test is paper/pencil.  We will provide snacks and lunch to both groups and we should be wrapped up for the day at 1pm.

Because of testing day on Tuesday, we will be following a Tuesday bell schedule on Monday, which means we will have periods 2,4,6, and 7 on Tuesday and then have our Monday schedule on Friday with periods 1,3,5, and SRB.  This mostly effects students, but wanted to make everyone aware.

This week is our monthly celebration and we will be celebrating the following:

  • Music performance (Wolf Johnson)
  • Boys Swimming Season Wrap-up
  • Dance team Season Wrap-up
  • Nordic Ski Season Wrap-up
  • Boys Basketball Season Wrap-up
  • Girls Basketball Season Wrap-up
  • FBLA State Winners
  • Laptop Giveaway as part of our ongoing Positive Behavior Intervention and Support model.

Parents please remember that I had to reschedule my PIE meeting to this week, thus we will meet at 6pm on Tuesday in the LVHS Popo Agie Room.

Congrats to both the Soccer teams as well as the track team that competed well over the weekend. Soccer will be home vs. Cody on Friday and Track will be at Riverton on Saturday.  If you are looking for a night out, the LVHS Band will entertain on Thursday with their spring concert starting at 7pm. Parents don't forget that next Saturday (4/21) will be the Junior Prom at LVHS with the march beginning at 8pm in the LVHS Auditorium followed by the dance at 9pm in the Fieldhouse.
