Hello Everyone,

Hope you all had a nice and relaxing weekend with friends and family.  It has been a long winter and so I am sure you all appreciated the sunshine as much as I did.  Please remember that your students will get to enjoy another day tomorrow, while the teachers are doing some professional development.  On Wednesday we will be administering the state required ACT and ASPIRE tests to all students 9-11th grade.  It is important that your student arrive with a charged chromebook and charger no later than 7:45 that morning as testing begins promptly at 8am and they must check in prior to that.   Students are allowed to leave at the conclusion of the tests.  If you would prefer that your student stays at school please be sure to contact the office to let us know.   Breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided that day as we try to make it as good a day as possible.    Seniors will not have school that day, but it is a great day to finish college and scholarship applications as well as just get caught up.   More details about all of this and schedules for all students and seniors for the end of the year are included in the LVHS Newsletter which you should receive by Monday.

On Saturday the junior class will be hosting PROM at the Community Center.  Hors d'oeuvre begin at 7:30, grand march at 8 and prom at 9-12. As always, parents are welcome at the grand march portion of the evening and I hope to see you there.   On Friday, the boys and girls soccer teams will host Buffalo in a home contest and although the track team is not at home, they will be in Riverton both Tuesday and Saturday this week.  Good luck to both teams.

Please do not forget about the upcoming meeting about the changes happening to grading and curriculum at LVHS next year on April 26 at 6pm in the LVHS Auditorium.  If I can be of any assistance prior to that meeting please do not hesitate to ask.

I hope you all have a great week,

Brad Neuendorf, LVHS Principal
