Hello Tiger Family,

On Tuesday, LVHS will host a Parent Night intended specifically for seniors to communicate all of the things needed for college admissions, FAFSA completion for student aid, and other scholarship and transition material.  Although the target is seniors, all parents who are interested in this process for the future are always welcome to attend.

The football team will play against its county rival this week with a 7pm kickoff in Riverton on Friday night, preceded with the freshmen game at 3pm.  At home the girls will host Cody and Rawlins on Friday at 4pm.  Volleyball will be on the road this weekend at Powell and Cody while Cross Country will head to Thermopolis for the Bobcat Invite.

This week 10 more teachers from LVHS will have the opportunity to attend a Solution Tree PLC at Work Institute in Salt Lake City.  These are incredible professional developments and will help to continue our work to ensure all students learn at high levels.

Thanks to all who attended the District-wide PIE meeting on Monday night, in all over 35 parents were in attendance and about 10 specifically sat in on the LVHS Building breakout.  Please remember that LVHS will still host its monthly PIE meeting at 6pm next Tuesday, October 3rd.  Special topics for that meeting include School Improvement goals and discussion and a specific standards based grading lesson looking at ICampus and how to read and interpret what is entered.

Have a great week everyone,

Brad Neuendorf, LVHS Principal
