Hello Tiger Family,

It was a great weekend for the Tigers as the Girl's Swim Team defended their state championship at the Campbell County Aquatics Center on Thursday and Friday with winning by nearly 200 points over Worland.  Many individual and relay championships were also won during the event for the Tigers.  Senior Maria Kulow also brought home the 3A Athlete of the Year to cap off an excellent season and career with the Tigers!  Congrats to all the coaches, parents and athletes who have invested so much time, effort, and energy to this incredible program.

On Saturday I was fortunate to watch a couple Tiger Alum's on the mat at the Wyoming Cowboy Open in Laramie.  Mark McConnell ('16) suited up for the Cowboys while Palmer Schaffer ('17) was wrestling for Northwest College and both earned collegiate wins.  I was also able to watch Katie Hines ('17), and Drew Gramlich ('13) march for the Western Thunder Marching Band prior to and at half time of the Cowboys football game.  Also, Braeden Meyer ('17) was featured of one of the artists this week in the Lander Art Walk and his art will be on display for the rest of the month at the Middle Fork Restaurant.  We pride ourselves in ensuring our students leave here college/career ready and these are just a few examples of our students making an impact at the next level.  I know there may be more success stories in college or career and I would love to share the success of our alums, so please feel free to email me with success stories!

Tuesday (11/7) we will host our PIE meeting at 12PM in the LVHS Popo Agie Room and Monday, November 20 at 6pm the District will host the District-wide PIE meeting at Central Office.  I hope that you will be able to make it to one of these upcoming parent meetings.

This Wednesday we will host our monthly celebration to honor all of our recent student success.  If you have not had a chance to take part in one of these celebrations I encourage you to do so in the future.  They are typically the second Wednesday of the month at 2pm in the LVHS Auditorium.   On Friday, we will also be hosting our Veteran's Day program for students at 1pm in the Fieldhouse to pay our respects to our current and past military members.  This is always a great program and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.

I hope you all have a great week,
