Technology PD class with UW grad credit available this fall
We are excited to offer a new series of technology integration professional development opportunity for the fall semester!
EDCI 5959, "Integrating Technology to Enhance Classroom Instruction" is a graduate-level course taught in-district that attendees may choose to earn one to three UW graduate credits.
This course is designed to model and encourage effective uses of technology in classrooms that will increase student engagement and learning. Evenings will start with examples of how to better leverage the highlighted resource. Participants will then work individually and in small groups to design lessons and activities based on each session’s showcased application and your current curriculum. You will leave each session with a lesson or unit that you can immediately use the next day in your classroom, and end the course with a collection of usable district-wide resources.
Sessions start on September 12th and run through December. Forms for receiving UW credit will be available at the first session, and costs are borne by the participant.
