Superintendent's Message
Welcome to Fremont County School District #1. It is a privilege and an honor to be able to serve the students, staff, parents, and community. As one of the top districts in the state of Wyoming, FCSD#1 continues to work hard to provide an excellent education for all of our students.
The district has been growing as a Professional Learning Community with a focus on learning for all students, building collaborative structures, and examining results to determine direction. Our staff members work together to answer the four questions of a PLC – What is it we want all students to know and be able to do? How will we know? What do we do if they don’t know it? What do we do if students know the material? From collaborative work that aligns curriculum across the grade levels to creating common assessments and developing interventions and enrichment for students, our staff is dedicated to continuously improving in order to help students achieve success.
As you look through the pages of our website, I hope you will see the great things that are happening in the district. Please pay close attention to our social media pages as they reflect a dynamic teaching staff that creates wonderful learning experiences for our youth.
As we move forward into the future, we will be asking for input on a variety of initiatives, including a new strategic plan. As the world that students enter continues to change rapidly, we strive to provide them the skills to succeed in their future. We appreciate the support of our community and look forward to providing the best education we can for all of our students.
