Who is Fremont #1’s Drug Program Administrator?

  • SPORT SAFE Testing Services of Powell, Ohio will be our Drug Program Administrator.  This company will conduct the drug testing, Medical Review, and provide results.  This company will also determine the frequency of random testing and will also determine who is randomly selected.

What does the process look like?

  • All random drug testing will be done during the school day.

  • Participants will be required to fill out the release on DragonFly in order to be tested.  They cannot be tested without the release.  They cannot participate without being tested.  DragonFly will open for registration on August 5, 2025.

  • Step 1: At check-in, students will be identified by a sponsor or some other form of ID, and it will be verified that we have a signed release.

  • Step 2: Students will then be directed to their designated collection location.  They will begin the collection process by filling out a SPORT SAFE Chain of Custody Form.  They will then be directed to their designated restroom to provide a valid urine sample.

  • Step 3: A urine sample will be collected and split into two vials which will be sealed by the collector and initialed by the student.  Participants will complete and sign the Chain of Custody form and a copy will be given to them.

  • Step 4: Specimens will be overnighted to a SAMHSA-certified laboratory  for screening and confirmation testing.
