Student Services

The Student Services Department exists to make sure schools in Fremont #1 meet the needs of all students, including those with health conditions, learning differences, and/or other unique needs. We believe all students can learn at high levels, and it is our responsibility, with parents as our partners, to find the right combination of services and supports that will enable each student to be successful. Please feel free to contact us anytime if you have a question or concern about your child's learning.

Homeless Assistance

Matt Jacobson is the local liaison for the district's homeless education program and services related to meeting the needs of youth in transition.

Child Identification Awareness

All year long, school districts are responsible for identifying children with disabilities and implementing individualized plans to meet their unique educational needs. The law states that all children with disabilities have the right to a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment.

If your child is having problems in school, or if you have questions about his/her development or progress, please contact your school's special education coordinator, principal, or the Fremont County School District #1 Student Services Office at 332-4711. Student Services staff members will assist you by providing information and options to help determine an appropriate plan to help your child succeed in school.
