Yesterday was an exciting day of ninja adventures for the staff at Gannett Peak. This morning Tricia Watson and Sierra Lyons dueled in an intense rock, paper, scissors tiebreaker round to determine the ultimate GPE ninja. Congrats to both ladies!

Congrats to James Simpson on being chosen by the Gannett Peak staff as the March Star Influencer of the Month! Mr. James is positive, calm, and helpful among students and staff building personal connections with everyone. No task is too big for Mr. James , he handles everything that is thrown at him quickly and efficiently. Our school would not run as smoothly without Mr. James' assistance each and everyday!

Congrats to Laura Jones on being chosen by the Gannett Peak staff as the February Star Influencer of the Month! Miss Laura has consistently received more nominations for this recognition than any other staff member each month. She goes above and beyond in everything she puts her mind to. Laura goes out of her way to make all students feel loved, welcomed, and part of our school community. She holds them accountable to be their best selves while teaching them lifelong skills! We would not be where we are today without Ms. Laura, her kindness, expertise, appreciation, and love!

LVHS is proud to announce a new project to help recognize a long and deep tradition of our graduates going on to serve in our nation's military. We are asking for everyone's help to identify LVHS and Fremont County Vocational High School graduates who have gone on to serve in any branch of the military. This fall we will unveil a new Alumni Military Honor Recognition Wall in the LVHS Commons to say thank you and to celebrate the graduates of LVHS/FCVHS who have served and protected our nation.
Attached is a link to fill out the form to give us the name, graduation year, and branch of service for each graduate who went on to serve in the military. Please share the link with anyone in the community who have served or have had children who have served so we can be sure to include ALL!
