Joe Meyer's LMS Computer Science classes and Jan Babits' News and Videography class enjoy their Friday piloting drones. Braeden Meyer spent the day teaching students to navigate drone pathways. Saturday, LMS Tech Club students worked with Braeden to capture birds-eye footage of the District's schools and Central Office buildings. A 2016 graduate of Fremont County School District #1, Braeden Meyer, earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences, Fisheries, and Wildlife Ecology & Management and is currently completing an MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking.

Fremont County BOCES is offering substitute teacher training classes and PTSB classes starting in August. Substitute teacher certification class dates are: August 6-8, November 19-21. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory, and the BOCES fee is $150. All classes will be held at the Fremont Co BOCES offices, inside the Rendezvous Elementary School in Riverton. Classes for PTSB credit: "The Effective Teacher" on September 25th, 9am-4pm. $65 for 0.5 PTSB credit. "Professionalism in Education" on October 15th, 9am-4pm. $65 for 0.5 PTSB credit.
