Congratulations to 1st grade teacher Mia Fiordalisi for being selected by her colleagues as Gannett Peak’s May “Star Influencer of the Month”! This award recognizes staff members who exemplify teamwork, positivity, and a commitment to building strong relationships, and Mia truly shines in all of these areas. Her coworkers describe her as the “glue” of the team, someone who brings humor, encouragement, and a solution-focused mindset to every day. From being the team’s tech wizard and data spreadsheet expert to creating a classroom filled with patience, positivity, and heart, Mia consistently helps both students and staff grow and succeed. Her students know they are loved, and her colleagues know they can always count on her.

Happy Nurse's Week to Nurse Pruett! Being a school nurse requires a unique set of superpowers—like the ability to heal almost anything with a magic ice pack and knowing exactly what’s wrong before we even say a word. Nurse Pruett, we appreciate the care you give us every single day. You make Gannett Peak a better, healthier place to be!

Huge thanks to our amazing PIE Parents for all the treats this week!
And a special shoutout to the Suwal family for providing delicious authentic Nepalese cuisine for our staff!
