Congratulations to Sierra Lyons, our 2nd grade teacher, for being chosen by her colleagues as January’s Star Influencer of the Month at Gannett Peak. This recognition reflects the respect and appreciation her teammates have for the way she consistently models teamwork, positivity, and strong relationships.
Sierra is intentional with her words and actions. She makes it clear to her students that they are loved while holding high expectations and challenging them to grow. Sierra is always ready to lend a helping hand, encourage her teammates, and go above and beyond to do what is best for kids. She is a truly valuable member of the Gannett Peak community, and we are so thankful to have her.

Not sure what LVHS will do without this young lady's Christmas Spirit, pretty much been dressing the part since before Thanksgiving! Thank you for all you do at LVHS Daegan!

This week LMS celebrates three school support stars! Special education coordinator, Mrs. Sjo, and school counselors, Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Polson. Mrs. Sjo spends her days supporting teachers and students, while upholding the law regarding special education services. She never hesitates to jump in and help wherever help is needed. We are grateful for her flexibility and expertise! In addition to her very full time role as school counselor, Mrs. Jensen also sponsors the LMS Student Council and co-teaches the 8th grade enrichment class. Her friendly energy and willingness to do what needs to be done to help students is evident in all she does. Finally, Mrs. Polson is actively involved in all areas of LMS and is often a first line of support in responding to student conflicts. She also has the complicated task of creating schedules for our entire student body. She works hard to understand each student's personality to be as accommodating as possible. Mrs. Polson is always accompanied by her trusty sidekick, George.
LMS appreciates these three school support providers and the work they do to help our students and our staff be successful!

The fifth day of Christmas spread for our gift Wrapping WEO at LVHS! Thanks so much Traci and Kristy for all your work to make it possible!

When you have a student make a masterpiece and it happens to be your mascot you blow it up, frame it, and proudly display it in your commons for years to come! Thank you, Nya Yardas for sharing this piece and your talent with all of us, grateful!
