The sixth grade garage band, The Loose Skrews, performed their stellar rendition of Take Me Home, Country Roads, today at lunch. These band members, led by their math teacher, Philip Moore, have been practicing during recess for the last several weeks in preparation for this event. See a video of this performance, as well as an interview with the band, in the next issue of Saber News!

Congrats to Kendra Bauer for being chosen by the Gannett Peak staff as April's "Star Influencer of the Month". Mrs. Bauer is not only a superstar with Kindergarteners, but she is widely respected for her positivity and kind spirit. Our school is a better place each day because of Mrs. Bauer!

A Heartfelt Thank You
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported the Dancing With the Stars fundraiser for CES. This event holds special meaning for both Mindy and me, as many of our Entry Services clients are former FCSD #1 students.
Your generosity did not go unnoticed—whether it was purchasing tables to support the FCSD #1 dance team (special thanks to Leslie Voxland, Charleigh Wolfe, and Chloe McClane), making a donation, or simply showing up to cheer us on, your support made a difference.
A huge shoutout to those who joined us for the flashmob finale: Leslie Voxland, Diane Weller, Shawna Brinson, Morgan Schubring, Chloe McClane, Lisa McCart, and Joe Meyer. If I happened to miss anyone, please know that your presence and energy were truly appreciated and celebrated.
Thank you all for helping us make this event such a success! https://county10.com/2025-dancing-with-the-stars-lander-riverton-gala-raised-over-70k-for-ces-saturday-night/

WY-TOPP testing starts on Wednesday! Please help students be well rested, on time and ready to go. We appreciate all you do in encouraging your student to be successful!

Before Lego Club started, two Baldwin Creek students showed me their "broken" devices. They had me fooled for a minute until I looked close and saw the mouse cursor and toolbar -- it's just a background image that looks like a shattered screen. Their smiles gave it away too! 😂

Way to go Grady and Aspen!

Night 1/3 is in the books and you will not want to miss the LVHS performance of Alice in Wonderland! The acting is phenomenal as always and the stage, makeup, costumes, light and sound are out of this world excellent! Happening both Friday and Saturday at 7 pm, but get here early

LMS is flipping the script for our last Super Saber Day of the Year to give back to the community that works so hard to support us. Instead of choosing activities here at school, students will choose an opportunity to help around town.
