9 of 12 events won by Lander today, with a great finish by our 400 free relay of Sara, Daegan, Katy, and Vayda!

2nd Emily, 6th Ang in the 100 Breast! Hope those fire trucks are polished up!

Swept the top three places, Katy 1st, Cira 2nd, and Daegan 3rd in the backstroke!

My camera is getting tired! Another championship for the Tigers! 200 free relay! Daegan, Sara, Emily, Vayda!

Another ship for Lander, another ship for Vayda! 1st by a mere 22 seconds in the 500 free! Pic was a bit late, but almost fitting for that grueling race!

Three more on the podium after the 100 free, Sara 2nd, Ang 5th, Liv 6th! Those fire trucks getting warmed up?

Six events and now a fourth championship with Katy winning big in the 100 fly! Chayse 3rd, Iris 6th!

Brooklyn with a 6th place podium finish on the board!

No championship, but how about 2nd, 3rd, and 6th to grow that team lead! Good job Sara, Chayse, and Liv!

3 for 3, after making up 2 seconds from yesterdays race, Emily wins the 200 IM! Cira in fifth!

Two events, two championships with Vayda in the 200 free, Daegan 3rd! Let's Go Tigers! Crushing it!

1 event one championship at the WHSAA Swim Finals in the 200 Medley Relay!

This week LMS celebrates our ELA staff!
The LMS ELA team works hard to meet students where they are as they prepare them for future academic success. In 6th grade, Mr. Prine builds such strong relationships that he has past students visiting him in the pod each morning. Mr. Prine is dedicated to growing himself as a teacher so that he can effectively grow his students. In 7th grade, Mr. Nichols has the daunting task of preparing students to take the WYTOPP writing test each spring. Mr. Nichols models constant growth and urgent learning as he helps students develop critical thinking skills. Ms. Zimmer, in 8th grade, is passionate about literacy and is dedicated to instilling a love of reading in all her students. She strives to know what makes each student tick, so they know she sees and appreciates who they are as humans. Finally, Mrs. Babits is our beloved LMS librarian. In addition to connecting kids with books, she coteaches the 8th grade enrichment class and assists in the development of the yearbook. Mrs. Babits is always willing to help and can find the positive in any situation. LMS is grateful to Team ELA for always being willing to take on new challenges to support high levels of learning and achievement!
