Dear Parents, Each year Gannett Peak art teachers work with Art to Remember to offer items with student artwork for purchase. These items make wonderful gifts for holidays, birthdays and anytime. For the last few weeks we have been creating art for this amazing fundraising opportunity. A portion of the proceeds go to help the Gannett Peak Elementary art program. We are SO excited to recognize Rachel Roberts as Gannett Peak's first "Star Influencer Teacher"! This new honor is awarded on a monthly basis and chosen from anonymous teacher nominations. This incredible teacher is the definition of positivity. Whether she's running the behavior resource room, supervising at recess, or guiding teacher teams, Rachel makes GPE a better place for the students and staff each day!

Friendly reminder Cougar families today is Wednesday and is our weekly early release day! School ends for Kindergarten at 1:55 PM and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grades at 2:05 PM. If you need to make different afterschool plans for your child please SEESAW your child's teacher directly prior to 1 hour before dismissal. Have a wonderful day!

Fremont County BOCES is offering substitute teacher training classes and PTSB classes starting in August. Substitute teacher certification class dates are: August 6-8, November 19-21. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory, and the BOCES fee is $150. All classes will be held at the Fremont Co BOCES offices, inside the Rendezvous Elementary School in Riverton. Classes for PTSB credit: "The Effective Teacher" on September 25th, 9am-4pm. $65 for 0.5 PTSB credit. "Professionalism in Education" on October 15th, 9am-4pm. $65 for 0.5 PTSB credit.
