Today, GPE 3rd graders participated in a nationwide Constitution Day event: a MOCK trial hosted by the 10th Judicial District in Olathe, Kansas, and co-sponsored by the Olathe School District.

Students spent the week learning about the trial system before joining around 57,000 other third graders from 12 countries to serve as the jury in the trial of a 3rd grader accused of running in the hall.

Students delivered their verdict to the judge in real time after deliberating. The defendant was found not guilty!
