LMS Sabers are competing to see which grade can have the LEAST number of missing assignments by the end of the quarter. While all grades are working hard to accomplish this task, 6th grade remains at the top of the leaderboard with 60 missing assignments. In a huge comeback, 8th grade dropped from 214 missing assignments last week down to 98 this week. Seventh grade continues to have the most but also dropped this week from 305 and 235.
LMS families can help by talking with your students about what work they're missing and how to get caught up. All students are welcome in SSC before school. Catch Up Lunch and after school study halls are also available. Don't hesitate to reach out to your student's teachers with questions or concerns.

Congrats to Laura Jones on being chosen by the Gannett Peak staff as the February Star Influencer of the Month! Miss Laura has consistently received more nominations for this recognition than any other staff member each month. She goes above and beyond in everything she puts her mind to. Laura goes out of her way to make all students feel loved, welcomed, and part of our school community. She holds them accountable to be their best selves while teaching them lifelong skills! We would not be where we are today without Ms. Laura, her kindness, expertise, appreciation, and love!

A very well-done speech by our own Wyoming Teacher of the Year, Mrs.Morgan Hahn, as she had privilege of the floor on both the house and senate. The long and incredible standing ovation was so well deserved by all Wyoming Educators! Wyoming is leading the nation!

There's nothing like a little Lunch Bingo to jazz up a Monday! Six winners were chosen from each grade level for a principal pizza lunch later this week. Students are entered into this drawing by teachers by earning a 'Keep it Up' ticket for showing responsibility, positivity and leadership.

In honor of National School Counseling Week, FCSD #1 would like to recognize our wonderful counseling staff members! We will be sharing some of their favorite self care routines throughout the week, so stick around and see if their methods can help you too!
