Congrats to Diane Weller on a well-earned and much deserved Star Influencer award! GPE staff choose Diane for this recognition because she not only shines in her role as Instructional Facilitator, but because she's empathetic, thoughtful, and a problem solver. Diane helps new teachers find their footing, coaches experienced teachers in growing their practice, and organizes just about everything at the school. Diane is passionate about doing what's best for kids, and she keeps our school running smoothly!

Our first Super Saber Service Day was a success! Yes, there are a few kinks to work out for next year, but overall, LMS had a great afternoon giving back. A giant THANK YOU to our transportation department for being incredibly flexible and patient with the chaos of getting over 300 people dropped off around town. (More photos to come!)

Sabers are hitting the streets tomorrow for the first ever Community Service Super Saber Day! They'll be cleaning up parks and sidewalks, working with preschoolers and elementary students, spending time with the elderly, sprucing up the museum, painting decals on storm drains, beautifying our campus and helping set up for The Pet Connection's big rummage sale.
Please send water and sunblock and remind students to wear comfy walking shoes. It's going to be a GREAT day!
